Nrshinga is highly influenced by music and in particular the bands that he listens to whilst he paints. He literally paints to the rhyhtm and energy of the music which adds to the fluidity of his paintings and the dance of paint on the canvas. Inspirational bands include Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Slipknot, Metallica, Queens of the Stone Age and Rage Against the Machine. Nrshinga regularly attends music gigs and travels through Europe to feed off the music that provides so much artistic stimulation.
